There are approximately 40 species and sub-species of this mammal and they can be found in West & North America, Canada, Mexico, Siberia, Mongolia, China & Korea. Chipmunks are diurnal, which means they are awake most of the day and sleep at night.
Terrapins belong to the group of reptiles known as Chelonians. They can adapt to most habitats - fromAmerica, to Canada and as far south as Mexico. Most Red Eared Terrapins are now bred in captivity.
The Olive and its fruit is of major agricultural importance in the mediterranean region as the source of olive oil.Over 750 million olive trees are now cultivated worldwide. It is an evergreen tree or shrub, short and squat and rarely exceeding 8-15 metres in height.
Leopards are the smallest of the four ‘big cats’, the others are the Tiger, Lion and Jaguar. They are now mainly found in the wild in sub-Saharan Africa,with other small populations in India, Pakistan and China.
